A toe ring feels like a beach vacation that has not happened yet.
An anklet catches someone's eye because it is not the obvious jewelry choice.
Small pieces that make your favorite sandals look like they hired a stylist.
The compliment
Some people get compliments on their smile.
Some people get told they have beautiful eyes.
I kept getting complimented on my feet.
Not once.
Not twice.
Enough times that I eventually had to admit there was... a trend.
One day a complete stranger stopped me in a store just to tell me I had pretty feet.
At that point I figured the universe was trying to tell me something.
So naturally...
I bought GotNiceFeet.com.
Because apparently that's how businesses start now.
The artist part
I'm an artist. This just happens to be my latest canvas.
I've spent my life making things.
Painting. Photography. Graphic design. Building websites, Painting, Jewelry design, and Dreaming up businesses that probably sound ridiculous until they somehow become real.
Creating has always been the constant.
Got Nice Feet wasn't supposed to become one of those creations.
It started as a joke.
Then I found beautiful toe rings.
Then anklets.
Then matching jewelry.
Then I started imagining how they would look in the sun, at the beach, on vacation, or with your favorite pair of sandals.
Somewhere along the way, the joke became a brand.
Why toe rings and anklets?
Because they're the jewelry people forget about...
Until they notice yours.
A necklace is expected.
Earrings are expected.
An anklet catches someone's eye because it's unexpected.
A toe ring feels like summer.
It feels like a beach vacation that hasn't happened yet.
It feels like walking barefoot across warm concrete after the pool.
It's one of those little details that doesn't need a reason beyond, "I like it."
Honestly, life could use more things like that.
The pieces
I only sell pieces I'd actually wear.
If it wouldn't end up on my own foot...
It doesn't belong here.
I look for jewelry that's beautiful without taking itself too seriously.
Pieces that make you feel put together without needing a special occasion.
Something you can wear to dinner.
Or the beach.
Or while running errands.
Or because it's Tuesday and you're tired of pretending Tuesday doesn't deserve a little sparkle.
The name is a joke. The jewelry isn't.
The name
People usually laugh when they hear the name.
Good.
You're supposed to.
Life has enough companies trying desperately to sound important.
I'd rather make something memorable.
If the name makes you smile before you've even looked at the jewelry...
We're off to a pretty good start.
The small business part
This is a real small business.
There isn't a marketing department.
There isn't a board meeting.
There isn't someone in a suit asking whether our brand messaging aligns with quarterly objectives.
It's just me.
I'm the photographer.
The website designer.
The customer service department.
The person packing your order.
The artist behind the brand.
And probably the person redesigning the homepage at midnight because I decided one font was annoying me.
Welcome
Thank you for being here.
Whether you found this website because someone complimented your feet...
Because you were searching for the perfect anklet...
Or because you accidentally wandered onto the internet's most confidently named jewelry store...
Welcome.
My hope is simple.
That you find a piece you genuinely love.
Something that makes you feel a little more confident, a little more creative, and maybe a little more like the version of yourself that isn't saving the "good jewelry" for someday.
Life's too short.
Wear the anklet.
Wear the toe ring.
Go barefoot when you can.
And if someone happens to compliment your feet...
Well...
Now you know exactly where to send them.
